Formed in Chicago in 2003 by guitarist Chuck French and bassist Neil Keener (both x-PMFS), GIT SOME has morphed through lineup changes/relocation into the fucking unstoppable force that it is today. Loud, raw guitars, angular, maniacal rhythms via the precision drumming of Andrew Lindstrom, and manic, almost trance-like vocal delivery, a la mista Lucius Fairchild, who lays down the soulful wail of a blues legend, simultaneously igniting a hair-ripping scream of a bad LSD trip. Lyrically, there’s more of an inner narrative happening, than a social commentary of the issues of the world.
